Abstract

The relationship between prepositions and verbs and what they lead to is a semantic relationship that leads to understanding the texts and what they indicate. Prepositions are frequently used in Arabic speech, performing a grammatical function through expressing meaning. Attachment is the general function performed by the preposition in Arabic, which is evident in knowing the meanings of texts in which the preposition has a significant impact on explaining them. The impact of prepositions may even change the meaning of the verb. All of them are completely changed.


This is what drew our attention to research in a selected group of blessed Quranic verses that we chose because they include related matters that have multiple opinions about their related matters; It was researched to clarify the multiple meanings contained in the principle of attachment in those texts, seeking understanding and knowledge. The subject of the research and its problem is to determine the attachment and the attached, and to clarify their meaning and their effect on the meaning of the selected Qur’anic text. The research plan was based on discussing these selected Quranic verses and explaining the topics of relevance in them to know the significance of the Quranic text and its differences with the effect of relevance in it. The research yielded multiple results, including: attachment and its interpretation stem from the language and its broad horizons in accordance with its laws and methods of expression to produce the intended meaning and intended significance. Attachment affects the meaning within the structure and context, and in the result it affects the overall significance of the blessed Quranic text. Attachment and its interpretation are among the most delicate topics of grammar and rhetoric. They include many high rhetorical aspects, refined rhetorical benefits, and profound semantic indications that support the blessed Qur’anic text with reasons for its greatness and miraculousness. The Qur’anic text is rich in meaning, with its words and structures carrying ample meaning and multiple meanings, serving its great goal of conveying, guiding, directing, and worshipping, and the attachment to the means of understanding all of that.
