Abstract

The study included isolate and diagnose 52 isolates of S. aureus bacteria resistant to various described antibiotics described (based on antimicrobial sensitivity test) of chicken skin samples for use in vitro and in vivo experiments (experimental chicken skin injury). The effectiveness of aqueous extracts of three common medicinal plants Eucalyptus, Henna and Aloe vera),in addition to histopathological examination to evaluate the development of healing and healing of the chicken's skin wound during )3 weeks).

Leaf aqueous extracts prepared according to standard methods, in (5) concentrations of each and stored in the refrigerator. In vitro was studied to inhibit the concentration of these extracts. The lowest inhibitory MIC and the lowest killer concentrations MBC were studied. The experimental infection was caused by the chicken skin with bacteria. The pathologic signs were observed and the wound was healed and cured within (3 weeks).

The highest resistance was in Ampicillin (88.5%), Oxacillin (59.6%) and Gentamycin (7.7%). The results of Phyto-chemical analysis showed that plants contain most of the essential substances that have been detected. Eucalyptus is missing Alkaloids, Glycerides, Carbohydrates and Comarenes, Henna for Alkaloids, Saponens, Peptides and Aloe vera for Tannins and Saponens. The effectiveness against bacteria is due to their containment of these active substances .

In vitro, diameters of the inhibition zones were increased directly with increased concentration of the plant extract, and the aqueous extracts gave growth inhibitory regions greater than control. The values of MIC and MBC were higher in Aloe vera, Henna and less in Eucalptus. The histopathological examination of the wound (in vivo) treated with high concentration showed rapid healing with thick corneal tissue, excessive epidermal layer proliferating, extensive fibrosis and clear vascular growth compared with antibiotic control, which supported the importance of using it as an effective and safe alternative to treat the hard treated superficial infections of chicken's skin.
