Abstract

After the appearance of the city -  states at  the beginning of the  third millennium B.C, Mesopotamia faced a continuously conflicts among  these city - states in order to control the water sources and agriculture lands  which were the mean reasons of these conflicts therefore these reasons  encarage some  rulers to unify these city – states such as , Lugal – Zagisi  (2400-2370 B.C), when he subjected the under his control and his central state .other rulers succeed to do the same as we have seen with Sargon of Akkad ,Hammurabi  (1792-1750 B.C), Sargon  of Ashur (721-705 BC) and Nabu-blazer  to commemorate the unification which was essential part of the Ancient Mesopotamia.
