Abstract
To the extent of expressing many Arab critics, he is considered the greatest poet in the pre-Islamic era and has literary and linguistic creativity in the field of pronunciation and meaning. Based on this, the poet's literature is fertile ground for study in terms of emotion and thought.
The controversy in emotion and thought in the experience of the man of the test is evident through the poet's words, expressions, and expressions in the folds of his poems.
This article is based on a descriptive-analytical approach that sheds light on the emotion, the thought, the manifestations and the experience of this poet. It is summarized in the poet's propensity to prostitution, pleasure, passion and others in the field of passion on the one hand, On the other hand, one of the findings of this article is that the man of al-Qais fluctuates in his poetry experience between emotion and thought. Sometimes we note that he tends to enjoy and listen to it, and sometimes his poetry revolves around the axis of judgment, morals and so on. Contrary to what some claim in his absolute poetry, we note the flashes of good thought, good morals, and excellent judgment in his literary text.
