Abstract

       The present research deals with (Psychological integration in the paintings by artist Jean Dubuffet), in an attempt to grasp the nature of the concept as a procedural tool to decode the text and mechanisms of its work in abstract expressionism and specifically in the paintings of the artist Jean dubuffet, the research included four chapters, the first chapter of which concerned the methodological framework of research The research problem is determined by answering the following questions:


- How did the artist (Jean dubuffet) deal with the Mechanim of psychological Introjection in his artwork?


- What are the mechanisms of operating psychological Introjection conceptually and constructively in the artist's paintings?


The chapter also included the importance of the research and the need and the objective of the research that was manifested: to uncover psychological Introjection in the paintingsof the artist Jean dubuffet.


The first chapter also included the limits of research and the definition of the most important terms.


The second chapter on the theoretical framework and previous studies and the theoretical framework dealt with the following topics:


The first topic: - The concept of integration in psychological studies.


The second topic: - The starting points of the artistic vision in the works of the artist Jean dubuffet.


The research has emerged from the theoretical framework, including useful indicators in the construction of the tool later.


The third chapter includes the research procedures, which included the research community and the research sample, which amounted to (3) drawings of dubuffet. As well as a search tool and analysis of the sample search.


the fourth chapter contains the findings of the research, conclusions, recommendations and proposals


The main findings of the research are as follows:



  1. 1. The features of Introjection appeared as a defensive trick taken by the artist as a way to escape from the painful reality to a world dominated by primitive, marginalized and unconscious using trivial and vulgar materials, which draws the attention of the viewer to its normal and indulgence, and what is surprising, sarcasm and ugliness in terms of colors, shapes, lines and themes and indicate the Introjection with children's drawings Marginalized, inmates, and mental health patients.

  2. 2. Psychological Introjection embodied in the work of dubuffet.in line with the foundations and bases of post-modern thought and in conjunction with them as part of a system that has no summit and bottom, undermine the provisions of reason and order, break the link with history in all its tracks and values and the absence of aesthetic and technical standards, to achieve balance and reduce tension by compensation On a fictitious or real failure, he records a very partial, forgettable and soluble narrative.


 The most important conclusions reached by the research are: -



  1. 1. The nature of the general orientations of psychological Introjection in the paintingsof the artist Jean dubuffet works with the undermining of the mental system in Western society and expresses significant displacements in the transformation of aesthetic values, which characterized the painter's work with emotion and strangeness and spontaneity through form, color, calligraphy and image relationship to the text and aesthetic relations Increased in the ability to express a range of psychological Introjection has exceeded the artist everything that is logical and objective and coupled with this behavior spontaneous and reject academic traditions.


The researcher referred to a set of recommendations and suggestions, in addition to proven sources and appendices, as well as abstract of the research in English.
