Abstract

This research paper studies Al-Jusi's critical thought as one of the well-known Arabic critic in her book "The Trends and Movements in the Modern Arabic Literature". The book is a dissertation, which is conducted to hold the PhD in the seventeenth of twentieth century. Al Jusi studied the modern Arabic literature, its poetry, the political, social, cultural effects that surround it, its shift, and she has read it deeply and widely. The researcher handles the book through reading, analysis. The researcher tries to grasp the critical vision of the author according to three sections. concepts, notions, terminologies, and visions. The third section deals with the applied critical thought in the reading and analysis, etc .
