The Spatialization of Time: Towards A Development and Expansion of Vandeloise’s (1986) Model
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims at studying the spacialisation of time which refers to expressing time using space words. It tries to apply the model of Claude Vandeloise to describe the space in the language, and apply it on the time, in other words, this research is a development and an expansion of Vandeloise's model. However, Vandeloise did not study time in the relation between time and space neither did he study the role of the conceptual metaphor in this relation.
