Characteristics of the Quranic Methodology: An Interpretive Study

Abstract

The study presents the most important characteristics that distinguish the Holy Qur’an from other texts. The study selects some verses of the Holy Qur’an that show its characteristics; they are chosen according to its sections with reference to the most important explanations mentioned by the interpreters in those verses. The study concludes that the most important characteristic that distinguishes the Holy Qur’an from all other texts and enables it to dominate them is its keeping pace with the aspirations of humanity and its developments over time until the Hour of Resurrection.
