Cultural Signs of the Body in the Iraqi Theatrical Shows

Abstract
This research studies the cultural signs of the body in Iraqi theater performances. The research problem is summarized in the components that determine the performance of the body as a cultural mark in the theatrical performance. The research aims to study theater as a system of anthropological signs embodied through the system of the body. The research sample included performances of the National Theater of Baghdad in 2015. The research dealt with the anthropology of culture and signs of the body and touched upon the discourse of the theatrical performance as an anthropological cultural mark. And he reached several results, the most important of which is the creation of the body aesthetic images through social, cultural and ideological behaviors on stage, which gave an anthropological semantic dimension to the image formed by the director using the physiological dimension of the body. One of the conclusions of the research is that the actor plays an important role in conveying the idea of a text code through the body and the sound and the formation of the scenic image with its aesthetic, intellectual and semantic formations by organizing and installing anthropology in the theatrical presentation.
