Abstract
Air pollution is one of the most dangerous types of environmental pollution, as air represents one of the important elements of life and the daily need of organisms. Air pollution has increased in the contemporary city, due to the presence of several factors, including the movement of transport and manufacturing, weak laws and legislations for air purification and determining methods of air purification from harmful impurities, as well as the spatial signature The fault of the industrial facility, the failure to observe the design of the chimneys of the industrial facility, its low heights, the speed of pollutant ejection from the chimney, the speed of the prevailing wind direction in the region, and the increase in the number of cars in Dhi Qar governorate, which is increasing year after year. In addition, the city is exposed to dust storms without a green belt to protect Including the spread of the phenomenon of electric generators in all neighborhoods of the city.
