The Intertextuality of Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab’s Poetry in Contemporary Iraqi Painting

Abstract
The research tagged: (The Intertextuality of Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab’s Poetry in Contemporary Iraqi Painting), has four chapters: The first chapter is concerned with the methodological framework of the research, represented by: the research problem that can be summarized: Is there intertextuality (intellectual - structural - functional - aesthetic) between the poetic text And the contemporary Iraqi artistic productions intertwined with it? It included the research objective: to identify the intertextuality of Badr Shaker al-Sayyab's poetry in contemporary Iraqi painting. And the artistic texts (paintings) of some Iraqi painters for the period from (1960-2005) AD, which serves as a research sample. By adopting the descriptive approach in the method of analysis in the theoretical, intellectual and cognitive presentation in the analysis of research samples. As for the second chapter, it contained two topics, the first dealt with (the concept of intertextuality among Arabs and the West). The second dealt with (intertextuality between poetry and painting), As for the third chapter, it included the procedures related to the research community, the sample and the research methodology, and then the analysis of the sample, which amounted to (three) models. The (artistic) discourse with another visual text or several preceding or simultaneous texts with it, as it is considered as (external) intertextuality researchers.
