The Effectiveness of the Symbol in the Works of Potter Hyder Rauf

Abstract

The symbol is an important means of communication and communication between tribes and tribes is the first of those methods used by humans from ancient times until the present. The symbol thus becomes part of human life in general and art in particular, for its high potential to express what the artist perceives and feels from the perceptions, events and feelings that can be communicated to the recipient only through a symbol understood by the connoisseur.

Therefore, the study of symbols in the contemporary plastic arts, especially the art of ceramics, is of paramount importance in terms of the symbol's entry into the viability of certain works of art, and even became some of these works of art is itself a symbol of expressive abbreviated where the symbol carried by the abstract or realistic concept of expression and a message with meanings and meanings expressed understanding of Before the general public, taking into consideration the understanding of the viewer of the artistic achievement, which the artist referred to in his symbolic artistic achievement, the current research (the effectiveness of the symbol in the work of the potter Haider Raouf) included four chapters. The first chapter also includes a reference to the importance of research and the need for it through the knowledge of some symbolic indications used by modern ceramists, and this chapter also included the objective of the research b (the effectiveness of the symbol in the ceramics of Haider Raouf), and with regard to the limits of research, (2007-2017), while the second chapter was devoted to the theoretical framework and previous studies, and in relation to previous studies, the researcher addressed a letter interested in studying the symbol, which, 1- The Symbol in Contemporary Ceramics in Iraq / Rana Amer / Baghdad University / 2006.The third chapter dealt with the research procedures in which the research society (20) was defined as a ceramic work and a sample of the research with the tool of analyzing the research sample and defining the descriptive research methodology and then analyzing the research sample which consisted of (5) ceramic models, Chapter Four to review the findings, conclusions and recommendations, and the most important findings of the researcher in this study:1- The effectiveness of the symbols in the work of the potter Haidar Raouf, according to their representation within the structure of the ceramic works, as well as the diversity of their meanings as in the sample of the research sample.2 - The symbols showed their effectiveness with the structural composition of the models of the research sample actually interact with the movement of contemporary Iraqi ceramics.
