Abstract

Puns is considered one of the eloquence's styles that gives a pronunciation that carries two meanings, close and far, close one wanted to achieve the misleading, ambiguity and imagination, lies in many types, abstracted ready and eligible , the research consists of four chapters, first one dealt with research's problem that was embodied with the following question:


Can we activate and operate the puns described as an eloquence concept in the theatrical show area notably it's audible-optic techniques?" also the chapter included the importance of research via shedding light on studying the puns and it's operating techniques notably in techniques of theatre shows as the puns is described with having reading deviations that makes the theatre show move up to a path carries two meanings, this chapter contained also the (research goal) that was limited to knowing the puns speech by contemporary Iraqi theatrical techniques (Jawad Al-Asadi) as a sample, included also the research's limits that was specified by time the period (2017), spatial: the shows displayed in Baghdad, Show of Jawad Al-Asady.


While the second chapter included theoretical frame and contained two sections, first one concerned with studying the puns conceptually, starts with puns in the poetry speech reaching to the narrative speech, while second section was about: Puns and its works in theatrical show techniques , this chapter was finalized with previous studies, discussing them and the indications resulted from theoretical frame.


Third chapter dealt with (research's procedures) and indications resulted from theoretical frame described as analyzing tool within a depictive method (analytical) and watching shows and photos to start the analyzing of the show ( TaqaseemAla-Alhayat).



  • The place works on showing " TaqaseemAla-Alanbar" and method of designing the walls by a slope line as puns carries a meaning that give a feeling of cruelty and collapse of the place.

  • Transferring of playing challo in the play of " TaqaseemAla-Alhayat" into narration and relieving of what has been kept inside the creatures that live in that place.


Then the chapter was finalized with conclusions, most important ones are:



  • Techniques discovered in the optic narration about the tacit coordination in speech's show.

  • Optical technical speech posed a storages of diverse meanings that contributed in discovering the hidden obvious in show's space.
