Abstract

After the great international interest in children's rights, and the issuance of an international agreement for this purpose, before that specialized international organizations were established to protect their rights in various fields, including UNESCO and UNICEF, which had a major role in caring for children's rights in the world, especially with regard to education, as it devotes most of its attention from In order for all children, in particular, to obtain their right to education without exception, through cooperation with states in order to achieve this goal, and states must translate their obligations in the form of national legislation, and treat the right to education as a fundamental and strategic right, at a time when These organizations play a prominent and important role in protecting children's rights, but they suffer from the lack of legal mechanisms to help them monitor states' implementation of their obligations under international agreements, which requires support from the United Nations to achieve its goals aimed at protecting children's rights under all circumstances. Its importance is highlighted by the role it plays in helping countries pay attention to the rights of children, based on the auspices of the United Nations. Children have been subjected to numerous violations that have become evident in armed conflicts, especially what happened to them in the Second World War. Therefore, UNICEF reports and UNESCO recommendations in this regard have been of great importance in the field of setting international standards imposed on countries to protect them.
